What an exciting day! I was able to present Swale at the Queens Museum with Lindsay Campbell and Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice, alongside the Mierle Ukeles exhibition at the roundtable with Mierle. Mierle changed the way I've thought through maintenance in my own life and work, and thought through Swale's longevity, with maintenance as part of collective care for a commons. Often, maintenance is more important than the initial impulse.
